Jacqueline Carey

Jacqueline (Ann) Carey (1964 - ) is the author of the critically acclaimed "Kushiel's Legacy," a trilogy of historical fantasy novels concluding with the New York Times bestseller, "Kushiel's Avatar." She attended Lake Forest College, graduating with degrees in psychology and English literature. Her writing is influenced by a love of travel, which has taken her from Finland to Egypt to date. She currently (2003) resides in west Michigan, where she is a member of the oldest Mardi Gras krewe in the state.
